... from eating at new restaurants together TO Cooking Together ... all worthwhile! 🥰
We look pretty good. What is it we were all dressed up for?
Ah! Our wedding day! wasn't it?
But, on a serious note...
Some people say that love gives them wings -- (in my case, I was already flying), but you, my husband, you ground me (not in the way a child is grounded by parents *meek laughter*).
People talk about utopic perfection (pre-wedding and BIG weddings and if the former two aren't it, they've trended post-wedding shoots too), but to me, you are my amazing reality (when weddings are at HOME, and still filled with grandeur and LOVE).
So due to the reasons enlisted above, I promise or vow (whichever word you prefer);
I promise that as your wife, I will not keep score, even though I am totally winning (Don't you say, that you let me!).
I vow to love you even as you scan through all those movies without picking one to actually watch (and I end up, just watching you.).
I promise to laugh, for real, at every joke you crack, no matter how stupid or poorly told. I love you that much. (ah! but, you should really try StandUp Comedy.)
I vow to be your spell checker, grammar friend and tell you when things need exclamations. (the one who writes your posts for you *tongue pops out*)
I also make a solemn promise not to take any of your less pleasing habits personally, even though I really wish you would put the towel back on the bathroom door's key hook, and not leave your shoes in the middle of the bedroom passage, and I love you--I love you because of, not in spite of, your flaws—because I see how you try to overcome any troubles and you inspire me to overcome my own.
Also, here it is... my final declaration...
I took you to be my lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, until death does us apart or you turn into a zombie. Because then we're going to have to start seeing other people. Hahahahaha!
Happy Marriage to us, filled with endless LAUGHTER (okay, no FIGHTS are a mandate too), because dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins are the quartet responsible for our happiness...
Oh, and a BIG thank you -- to every one of you, reading this tiringly long post. You GUYS are LOVE! Are you really? C'mon ask yourselves that!
Ciao!
